On November 20, 2022, Anhui University of Finance and Economics (AUFE) concluded its college tennis tournament at the tennis court of East Campus. A total of 83 athletes participated in this match, which is the largest number of participants in the past years. Prof. Sheng Mingquan, President of Staff Tennis Association, and Prof. Jiang Tongren, Director of Physical Education Department, presented awards to the winning athletes.
After a fierce competition, Liang Yi from College of International Economics and Trade, Zhang Chengcheng from School of Accountancy, and Chen Lili from School of Finance and Public Administration won the top three in women's singles; Zhang Xinyu from Institution of Statistics and Applied Mathematics, Li Jiaqi from School of Law, and Liu Haoyu from School of Business Administration won the top three in men's singles; Li Jiaqi from School of Law and Zhang Xinyu from Institution of Statistics and Applied Mathematics, Tian Guo and Li Xiaole from School of Finance, Liu Haoyu from School of Business Administration, and Li Xiaole from School of Finance, and Liu Haoyu from School of Business Administration.The top three in men's doubles were Li Jiaqi of School of Law, Zhang Xinyu of Institution of Statistics and Applied Mathematics, Tian Guo and Li Xiaole of School of Finance, Liu Haoyu of School of Business Administration and Huang Shun of Institution of Statistics and Applied Mathematics.
During the match, the umpires strictly obeyed the umpire's code to ensure the fairness, justice and openness of the match, and all the athletes actively fought and cooperated with each other on the court. After years of efforts, tennis has grown into an advantageous sports program of our school. This tennis match shows the positive and sunny youthful style of our students, deepens the friendship between students, enhances the team consciousness, and promotes the communication between schools.
